One Wedding Dress, Three Ways – See How They Styled Martina Liana 889

You know the old saying ‘Never judge a book by its cover’ also applies to the never judge a dress on the rack before you try it on. Sometimes a dress you never thought would be The One ends up being perfect for you – it really depends on how you style it! From the venue and your hairstyle to the shoes and the color of your bridesmaid dresses can dictate how you style your own dress. Today, let’s look at how three real brides styled their wedding dress!

Style 889 is definitely more of a boho dress with its graphic lace print and scalloped lace hem. Made in a cut-and-sew style, the dress is super easy-to-wear and comfortable for a night of dancing. A V-neckline is mirrored in sexy side cutouts that plunge down the sides of the dresses, while a strappy back features coordinating lace straps connecting in a cross pattern for a very cool look. With a dress that’s so unique and boho, you might think that all brides wear this dress in the same way – wrong! Let’s look at three gorgeous gals and how they wore Style 889 for each of their weddings.

Bride Morgan wore Style 889 to her Melbourne wedding and said she knew it was the one the moment she put it on. “I wanted a very elegant dress that showed off my figure. I knew as soon as I stepped into my dress. Definitely a beautiful and emotional experience,” said Morgan.

Originally, the couple wanted a big, fat Greek wedding then opted for a smaller wedding with a focus on drinks and dancing. “My husband is Greek so traditionally we should have had a big fat Greek wedding but instead we chose a stand-up cocktail wedding. It was perfect for us. We had cocktails all night and danced the night away,” said Morgan.

Next up, bride Danae’s incredible Temecula wedding. “The theme for our wedding was Summer Solstice,” said Danae. “We always knew we wanted to have a wedding out in nature. We didn’t want to take away from the natural beauty so we thought if everyone wore WHITE it would not distract but it would enhance all the nature around us!”

By letting the natural desert surroundings dictate her style, Danae was able to have a very directional and gorgeous wedding day look. Style 889’s graphic, boho naturally lent itself to the desert wildlife and made Danae’s personal style shine.

Last but definitely not least, bride Jess customized Style 889 with lovely boho sleeves and accented her gorgeous gown with deep burgundy tones and moody pops of colors. Camp Lucy in Austin was the perfect venue for this boho bride. Notes of natural stone and Spanish moss made her venue feel private and charming, while her dress felt modern.
