Their wedding celebration was no exception—honoring Shaban’s Guyanese heritage and Brian’s Irish roots with five meaningful days of festivities, traditions and love, all leading to an outdoor ceremony surrounded by sweeping mountain views and towering trees. 

For her walk down the aisle, Shaban chose to embody the princess moment she had always envisioned in Martina Liana Style 1510. The gown’s intricate 3D floral embellishments and shimmering beading highlighted her figure, while the sculpted, semi-sheer bodice and elegant column silhouette created a look that felt both modern and ethereal. Finished with a softly flared train, the design complemented the beauty of the natural landscape—and made Shaban feel as radiant as she looked on her unforgettable day. 

SHABAN, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?     

I met Brian at work—we’re both police officers. A difficult but fun career, and we found each other. Brian ended up proposing to me at the Dolomites in Italy three years after we began dating. It was beautiful! 

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE. 

I wanted to look and feel like a princess with my dress enhancing my features and curves. Martina Liana Style 1510 did this for me! I felt beautiful! This dress complemented me so well. 

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.     

I’m Guyanese and Brian is Irish, so we had five days of celebrating. We wore traditional Indian outfits and then had an American wedding where I got to wear my beautiful white gown. Similar to our proposal, which captured stunning scenery, our wedding venue overlooked mountains and trees, which was perfect for Brian and I, who love being outside.
