Martina Liana bride, Haylee, pulled off the Disney-inspired wedding she had always dreamed of. She immediately fell in love with Style 1110 the moment she tried it on. Haylee and Jared’s wedding was full of magical moments paying tribute to their incredible love story. Read on to find out all the romantic details of their special day.
The Proposal
My Husband pulled off the best proposal. I always like to start this story off with how my engagement ring got lost the week before we were leaving for our trip. Each year (pre-covid) we would go up to Seattle for our anniversary weekend. He is a huge Seattle sports fan, and we always go to a Seattle Sounders game. In Oregon, there was a huge snowstorm, and the ring literally got lost in our town for five days. Of course he was going crazy each day arguing with UPS on the phone. The entire time he had me thinking he got me earrings for our anniversary (silly me). Long story short, his parents ended up helping and finding the ring the day before we left for Seattle.
We then headed to Seattle, and I didn’t know he had found the package. When we got to Seattle, we checked into the hotel and got ready for our date night. Before dinner my husband said, “Let’s walk down to Pikes Place to pick out flowers and wine.” After that, we headed to sushi dinner. I remember the entire time during dinner he was extra sweet and romantic. Then after dinner we walked down to the Ferris Wheel. The entire time he was holding my hand so tight. Once we got there, I remember asking him if he was okay because he was turning ghost white. I knew he was afraid of heights so I thought that was why he was so nervous. But little did I know he was about to propose. We got on the ferris wheel, and then he popped the question and opened the ring box. All I could say was “Are you serious, are you serious?” Well he was! It was such a special moment, and I’m still impressed writing this how I didn’t pick up on the thought of him proposing that weekend. But it sure makes the story so much more special!
The Dress
I honestly had no idea what kind of dress I wanted. However, my dress shopping experience was my favorite part of the entire wedding process. Jenn at BeSpoke Bride was incredible, and I had the best time at her shop. I don’t remember how many dresses I tried on, but as soon as I put on Style 1110 I knew it was the one. So did my friends and family! Everyone was in tears, including me. From the moment I put on my beautiful wedding dress to the end of the night, I felt so beautiful, confident, and like a princess. The day was perfect!
The Wedding Details
Our wedding was unique in that we did a private ceremony and then had the reception after at the same venue. Plus, we pulled it off during COVID without any issues! I’m quite the Disney nerd so I incorporated Disney into my wedding day. We had a mixture of a Disney theme with everything rose gold/blush! It was beautiful!
I walked down the aisle to my husband to an acoustic version of the theme song from Moana. Everyone was in tears. And for our entrance to the reception, I had my bride tribe walk in to Disney songs. It was awesome and everyone enjoyed it! We had delicious liquor cupcakes by a local baker in town — they were a hit. And we danced the night away! I did a line dance with my sister, even in my dress! It was a blast! I truly loved my wedding dress. I didn’t want to take it off and I’m not going to lie, I’ve definitely put it back on for fun since the day. I’m obsessed with it and felt amazing in it!!! To this day, everyone that was there to celebrate us continues to tell me how PERFECT our wedding was.
My husband and I wanted a small, intimate ceremony full of our family and some close friends. The ceremony was perfect. We had one of our best friends marry us, and he wrote the ceremony perfectly. He touched on individual attributes and pulled it together with our relationship. It was full of laughs, tears and more laughs (which is perfect for us). The best part was how my husband and I individually wrote our vows, and we each had overlapping parts of our vows. It went so smoothly. The crowd was in tears, and it was just magical! Family members expressed they learned so much about our love story after our ceremony!
