Real Martina Liana bride Chelsea looked stunning in Style 905. She knew that she wanted her dress to be flattering to her body type, as soon as she tried on Style 905 she didn’t want to take it off! They had a beautiful wedding that was rustic chic inspired. We love all the sweet details of their wedding day!
The Proposal
Although my husband will tell you I was surprised, I had a feeling he was going to ask me that day! It was the end of June, and he wanted to take me on a gondola ride in Lake Tahoe. Once we reached the highest point of the mountain, he asked a younger girl to take our picture (at this point my heart is beating out of my chest!) and he dropped down on one knee and asked if I would be his wife!
The Dress
Before going dress shopping, I had no idea what my style was. I had looked around online and took screenshots of the dresses I liked and showed my sister. She laughed when she saw them because every single dress was a different style. (Sweetheart, strapless, long sleeve, high neck, etc). But they all had one thing in common in my mind, the brides wearing their dresses looked BEAUTIFUL. All of their dresses were extremely flattering to their specific body type and style. That is what I wanted. So when I decided to go shopping, I was looking for that same feeling. That “Wow, she is gorgeous” feeling. And as soon as I tried on my dress, I didn’t want to take it off. That’s when I knew.
The Wedding Details
Our theme was shabby chic. I decided to use my husband’s favorite colors for the wedding, dusty blues and grays. Not only was there a full moon on our wedding day, but it was pouring rain!! This didn’t stop our family and friends from having the time of their life. It was absolutely amazing!!
The most special memory from my day was during the ceremony. Once my nerves settled down, I looked out at all my family and friends and realized I would never see them all in one place again and I felt incredibly lucky to be there.
