Real Bride Alexa and Miguel

Real Martina Liana Bride Alexa & Miguel

Real Martina Liana Bride Alexa and Miguel’s love story began simply in a college classroom, then unfolded through missed plans and second chances. But when Miguel surprised Alexa with a helicopter ride over the Boston skyline, it became clear their story was anything but ordinary.

True to the life they’ve built together, Alexa and Miguel’s wedding was modern, intentional and deeply personal. Set in a space that blended industrial edge with warmth and comfort, the day focused on meaningful moments.

Wearing Martina Liana Style 1752, Alexa embodied a bridal look that was confident, chic, and effortlessly powerful—reflecting a celebration rooted in connection, authenticity and a love story still being written.

ALEXA, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?

Our love story started in 2016 at Johnson & Wales University—in a classroom, of all places. I sat in the front, always ready with an answer, while Miguel stayed quiet in the back, totally under the radar. We barely spoke until one night at a basement frat party when we finally exchanged Snapchats.

After I canceled a few (okay, three) dates, Miguel gently called me out and surprised me with something unforgettable—a helicopter ride over Boston. That moment changed everything, and we’ve been writing our story together ever since.

On my wedding day, I wanted to feel sexy, yet timeless—confident, chic and unmistakably myself. I was drawn to a look that felt elevated and feminine; something that balanced softness with strength.

Martina Liana Style 1752 immediately stood out because it did exactly that. The clean lines, the fit and the subtle details felt intentional and refined yet still made me feel confident. It was the kind of dress that didn’t wear me—I wore it. From the moment I put it on, I knew it was THE one because it made me feel grounded, radiant and completely present.

HOW DID YOU FEEL IN YOUR GOWN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?

On my wedding day, I truly felt the most beautiful version of myself. Not just because of how I looked, but because of how the dress made me feel—comfortable, confident and glowing from the inside out. It allowed me to move, dance, laugh and fully soak in every moment. It wasn’t just my dream dress—it was the dress that made me feel like me at my best!

HOW DID MIGUEL REACT WHEN HE SAW YOU IN YOUR WEDDING DRESS?

When Miguel saw me in the dress, he was speechless! He looked me up and down and said, “Woah!” I assume that means, “You look HOT!”

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.

Our wedding truly felt like us because every detail reflected the life we’ve built together. We were drawn to a space that felt modern and industrial, yet warm, homey and comfortable—a place where people could relax, be present, and feel like they were celebrating with us, not just watching us. That balance mirrors our relationship perfectly: contemporary and grounded, stylish but deeply personal.

We focused on creating moments that felt meaningful rather than overproduced. From the flow of the day to the way our guests experienced each space, everything was designed to feel natural, intentional and full of love.

WHAT WAS THE MOST SPECIAL MEMORY FROM THE DAY?

The most special memory, without question, was our ceremony. Standing there together, surrounded by everyone we love, felt surreal in the best way. The vows, the quiet moments, the tears, the laughter—it was powerful. It felt like time slowed down, and nothing else mattered except the two of us choosing each other.

Family and connection were at the heart of the day. We made sure to honor the people who shaped us and the traditions that matter most to us, weaving them in naturally so they felt authentic rather than forced. It was a celebration of our story, our families, and the life we’re continuing to build together.
