GABBY, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?
Zack and I have a bit of an anomaly story. We first met in kindergarten and went to school together until high school graduation. We started dating in junior high and have been together ever since.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROPOSAL LIKE?
He proposed to me in the mountains with nobody around but my best friend and some mountain goats.
DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE.
My style is simple, elegant and fun. I wanted to feel like an elevated version of myself. I definitely wanted to be able to frolic. I knew Essense of Australia Style D4158 was the gown for me as soon as I put it on!
My wedding dress felt timeless and modern all at once. I loved the strapless scoop neckline and how the vertical contouring shaped the gown so beautifully. In the luxe organza, it was simple yet elevated, and with a long veil and train, it looked incredible from both the front and back.

I am a bridal stylist at The Bridal Boutique Calgary and have helped hundreds of brides choose their own gowns (many of those also from the Essense of Australia labels!!), and I was so excited to have that moment for myself.

He said my dress was perfect and suited me so well.

We wanted our day to feel authentic and memorable. We paid attention to everything, down to the little details, like fun table names instead of table numbers. It rained a little at the end of our ceremony, and it was so cool to see our friends hop up and start serving others and handing out the clear umbrellas as fast as possible. It was such a perfect day.
