Some love stories are written in the stars. This one is written in cowboy boots, music festivals and the unmistakable magic of fate. From being accidental neighbors on a festival campground to saying “I do” seven years later, Real Bride Georgie and Jim’s story is one of soulmates! Keep reading as Georgie takes us back to where it all started, the dress that felt like her and a wedding day fit for true love.
GEORGIE, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?

I met my partner at Glastonbury Festival in 2016. At the time, I was living in Australia and had gone over to the UK on holiday. We were actually camped next to each other on the festival grounds! We spent pretty much the whole festival together as we had similar tastes in music and, as it turned out, the same sense of humour. I moved to the UK half a year later, he picked me up from the airport, and the rest is history.
Jim proposed to me on the Summer Solstice at Glastonbury Festival 2023, in the spot where we shared that first cocktail together. It was seven years to the day we met. Easiest “yes” of my life.
He absolutely adored my dress, All Who Wander Style dallas, especially the sleeves, and is still talking about it weeks later. I’m sure he won’t mind me saying that he got a bit teary when he saw me for the first time that day, walking down the aisle.
DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE AND TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE
I never pictured myself as the traditional bride. My vision was very much to feel at home in my dress, but as an elevated version of myself. I wanted something floaty, understated and free-spirited, whilst also getting to flaunt my tattoos and cowboy boots! I found all that and more in All Who Wander dallas. It was the first dress I tried on, and I instantly knew it was perfect for me.

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.
Our wedding was always going to be somewhere rustic and wild, with maybe a festival twist thrown in. We decided to marry in North Cornwall, a corner of the world very special to us as Jim’s family has been holidaying there every year since the late 1950s.

There were many incredible moments from the day, but I have to say, the ceremony felt like pure magic. The sun shone all day, casting dappled light over the woodland clearing where we were legally married, and our gorgeous friend Amy sang Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon” with her acoustic guitar. We wrapped the evening with a celebratory piñata smash and karaoke, which was a total blast. I wish I could do it all again!
Cheers to Georgie and Jim!
