After a chance dating app swipe during a university exchange program, Real Bride All Who Wander Bride Kylie fell in love with John, and his orange cat. Following years of long-distance dating and moves across continents, John proposed to Kylie during a snowy vacation in Jasper.Â
Their wedding featured shades of pink, sunset-inspired florals and a relaxed, elevated atmosphere. Kylie knew she had found her wedding dress the moment she saw it on her phone—just like her husband. With its statement sleeves, plunging neckline and flowing train, the All Who Wander saylor was everything Kylie envisioned. KYLIE, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET? Â

I met my Canadian husband, John, during a university exchange program in Edmonton, Canada. When a photo of him and his beautiful orange cat popped up on Tinder, I couldn’t resist. After the exchange program, we dated long distance for three years, visiting each other whenever we could. John then moved to Australia for two and a half years before we returned to Edmonton together, right where it all began.Â
WHAT WAS YOUR PROPOSAL LIKE?
John proposed to me on vacation at Pyramid Lake in Jasper. He fell over in the snow right before proposing, which is an amazing memory to look back on because we are both so accident-prone

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE.
I have always dreamed of having sleeves on my wedding dress, but I knew I didn’t want the tight lace or tulle sleeves that you often see. I wanted something unique. As soon as I saw the saylor dress online, I knew I had to try it on. I made an appointment at one of the only stores in my area with a sample and saved the saylor dress for last. The moment I put it on, I knew it was my dress! I loved how the bodice made me feel sexy, while the sleeves offered coverage, and the flowing train felt so magical.

TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.
I love everything pink, and John is always supportive of me incorporating pink into all aspects of our lives—even my engagement ring is pink! So, it was only natural wedding incorporated all kinds of pink and sunset colours. My friend and I arranged all the flowers together, and I will never get over how amazing they looked.
John and I are both very introverted, so we wanted our wedding to have a relaxed atmosphere—think elevated backyard party. We served all our favourite foods, including a taco bar, pink cake, a charcuterie board and candy from Australia and Canada. We also played our favourite music from our youth, with lots of Shania Twain, Spice Girls and Uncle Kracker. I was a wonderful night surrounded by all our favorite people.
