A shared love of music sparked a college romance between Real Bride Hayley and Ben, setting the tone for a love story that led from campus to a heartfelt Colorado proposal—and ultimately, an autumn celebration in the mountains.
For the big day, Hayley wore the All Who Wander kait gown, a flowy, vintage‑inspired gown with romantic sleeves and effortless movement. Finished with a pearl‑accented veil, her look felt timeless, comfortable and entirely her own.
Set against the iconic backdrop of Maroon Bells in Aspen, their wedding day was filled with meaningful moments, thoughtful details and a few unforgettable surprises. Keep reading as Hayley shares more about her gown, their mountain celebration and the memories they’ll cherish forever.

HAYLEY, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?
Ben and I met in college. We are both musicians and both play percussion instruments.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROPOSAL LIKE?
I’m a teacher, and Ben proposed to me the day after the last day of the 2023-2024 school year on our trip to Colorado to visit his family.

DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE. HOW DID YOU WANT TO LOOK ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?
I wanted to look vintage or retro and wanted a gown that was flowy. I knew that it might be cold given that our wedding would be in the mountains at a higher elevation, so I wanted something with sleeves as well. The All Who Wander kait gown was the first dress I tried on, and every dress I tried on after just didn’t compare. It felt like me.
HOW DID YOU FEEL IN YOUR GOWN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY?
On my wedding day, I felt beautiful and comfortable. I didn’t want to take it off at the end of the night! I originally didn’t want a veil, but when I tried on the pearl veil, I had to have it.

HOW DID BEN REACT WHEN HE SAW YOU IN YOUR WEDDING DRESS?
We chose to do our first look at the ceremony, and he bawled his eyes out.
TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.
Our wedding was at Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado. We wanted a fall wedding so we could have the backdrop of the trees turning. When we first started dating, I told Ben that my favorite season was fall because I love seeing all the different colors of the leaves. My husband told me one day he’d take me to Aspen to see the yellow leaves, and this was the perfect time to do it with our close family and friends.
The most special memory of the day was a double rainbow that appeared at the reception after the rain and hail stopped.

Cheers to Hayley and Ben!Â
