From college sweethearts to husband and wife – Colby and Lexi had the fairytale wedding of their dreams! Lexi wore a sparkly, princess ball gown, Stella York Style 6630. She even had the horse and carriage to complete her fairytale vision! Lexi was a dancer at Texas Christian University, growing up a dancer she knew she wanted a glitzy wedding. We’ll let her tell you all the details about her beautiful wedding day. Congratulations Lexi and Colby!

The Proposal

Colby and I both attended Texas Christian University where we met. I was a member of the dance team and Colby was a photographer for the TCU football program. At the end of my last football game against Baylor University, Colby proposed on the 50 yard line with my teammates and both of our families present! It was a magical day!

The Dress

I wanted to be a princess on my wedding day and had a vision of me in a ballgown since I was a little girl. The Grand Tradition is like a fairy tale itself and the horse and carriage was by far my favorite part! My dress made all the difference and was actually the first dress I tried on at The Bustle!

The Wedding Details

Our wedding colors were baby blue, silver, and white. Those have been my favorite colors since I was a little girl and I love bling so we added extra sparkle everywhere! Growing up a dancer and being in pageants, sparkle is soooo important and I knew exactly what I wanted always! Our flowers were cream, white, and baby pink assorted types of roses.

My favorite part of the wedding day was riding to the aisle on a horse and carriage with my parents to marry the man of my dreams! My parents were also married at the Grand Tradition 26 years ago so it was that much more meaningful to our family!
