In her French Mikado Stella York wedding dress, Elizabeth was the epitome of elegance at her gorgeous outdoor wedding. From the lush, mossy trees to the simple floral accents, and all the personal touches, Elizabeth’s wedding was unforgettable!
From the bride: Surrounded by lush green fields punctuated with spectacular oak trees, James and I were married on the grounds of James’ Wadmalaw Island family estate. The wedding decor was simple and elegant with purple accents in the flowers (beautifully arranged by Pretty Petals of Charleston), fun over-sized balloons marking the pathways, and rustic glass lanterns beautifully hanging in the mossy trees. There were many great personal touches including custom koozies, and a traditional English wedding cake made by James’ grandmother! Another fun detail was the rose petal exit that looked great on camera and is a fun alternative to sparklers and confetti.
