The use of metallics in wedding decor has been growing over the past year, but I couldn’t be more excited to see two of my favorite metallics – rose gold and copper – become a must-try trend in 2016. Both warm, rich shades, rose gold and copper are perfect when used as your accent color, or even as a neutral. Here are a few of my favorite ways to incorporate these hues into your wedding day in unexpected ways.
Makeup
Maybe the most subtle of ideas, copper-colored eyeshadow adds just the right amount of glam to your bridal beauty, and ties into the color palette of your wedding day perfectly.
Heels
Whether you’re rocking a knee-length dress, a tea-length dress, a high-low dress, or you just want a pop of color to peek out the bottom of your floor-length wedding dress, I’m absolutely loving the metallic rose gold of this heel. So chic!
Signature Cocktail
There are few drinks more refreshing than a mule – especially on a warm summer night! A delicious signature cocktail that’s served in a copper mug? That I can get behind!
Table Setting
Elevate a neutral table with chic rose gold accents. Flatware, a vase, and a charger – all in your warm, rose gold – make easy additions to any table setting.
Centerpieces
Adding an assortment of copper candle holders in various sizes gives a truly unique look to your tables at the reception. I love the contrast of the metal against the vibrant flowers!
Boutonniere Accent
Don’t forget about your groom! Adding a bit of copper wire to your groom’s boutonniere gives the slightest pop of color without feeling overly-metallic.
Seating
Perfect for an industrial rustic celebration, I can’t get enough of these copper chairs! Mixed with the greenery, they are such a simple way to instantly warm up a cool, colorless room.
