I love a wedding, but I go crazy for a royal wedding! These last two royal weddings clearly more special as they were the sons of Diana. The world watched as her two boys (now fine young men) found their princesses, which is not an easy feat being royal as it comes with extraordinary pressure and responsibilities. As Australia is part of the commonwealth it’s a little bit of a big deal, I mean their Grandmothers face is all over my country’s money!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Harry and Meghan) rang in a new era within the royal family, it was quite extraordinary. They changed the face of the monarchy forever. It will be written in the history books for generations to come. I believe also, the now Duchess, changed the face, quite literally, of beauty on her big day, redefining it-this is known as style. Meghan Markle has knockout style.
Today, beauty has moved to the extremes, almost theatrical. I see brides often wearing so much makeup that they do not even look like themselves. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE makeup! Well placed, expertly applied beautiful makeup, that is. The kind that enhances beauty, the kind that makes people say “she is so beautiful” not I love her makeup! The kind the Duchess wore on her big day. Her makeup spoke a thousand words without saying anything. It spoke of confidence and sophistication and also modernity. Her style stops me in my tracks. No bells and whistles detract from the true message she delivers to the public she’s a humanitarian, who is strong, confident, intelligent, beautiful and stylish.
