Paige and Andrew hosted the most charming “classic romance” themed wedding in Indianapolis! From their historic venue to their sweet ceremony set up and Paige’s GORGEOUS Stella York wedding dress, it was a beautiful celebration. Read on to swoon over her best day ever.
These two love birds got engaged at a Journey concert. “Andy proposed during our song, Faithfully. It was so memorable and I was completely surprised!”
Is there anything sweeter than a surprise proposal? Maybe finding your dream wedding gown! “I knew I wanted something very timeless with sleeves, but still have elements of current trends. I didn’t want to over accessorize, but rather keep the focus on the dress and me! The dress shopping experience was the best! I highly recommend Brides by Young to all brides in Indianapolis. We worked with Lauren and she made the appointment fun and relaxing for my family! The dress I chose was actually the third dress I tried on and it was absolutely perfect. Just the style I was wanting for my day.”
Just like her gorgeous lace gown, Paige’s wedding day details were classic and organic. “My inspiration for our day was really based on our ceremony and reception venues.
Both are historic buildings, so I didn’t want to overpower, but rather highlight. The only flowers were 3 white magnolias and everything else from table centerpieces to my bridesmaid’s bouquets were various types of greenery.”
“Other colors included in our day were black for bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen tuxedos. White for all our signage and table linens and then several pops or gold from the antique candlesticks to our gold wedding cake.”
“We were married at the historic chapel where my husband went to college. This was really personal to us as we spent most of our time dating at Wabash College. My cousin Joe was our officiant and we worked with him to plan the entire ceremony.”
The Weyler’s wedding day deets just kept getting sweeter:
At the reception, we had a signature cocktail named after our dog, Duke! Each place setting had a cookie that matched our wedding cake. My mom made all our food and cake, which was so special to us! Cocktail napkins had “The Weylers” printed in gold foil. Our favors were plastic steins that resemble those sold at the bar where we first met with our names. We had so many personal touches, but those were a few of my favorites!”
As for the best part?
“It’s so hard to pick one thing! My favorite part of our day was taking photos out in the field. It was so fun to be adventurous in my wedding dress and share the special moment with Andrew! We were able to get away from the craziness and have a moment to ourselves.”
Best wishes to the Weylers!
