The Proposal
This fairytale wedding planning all began the moment Joseph proposed. “It was at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World,” Olivia said. “There is a Cinderella wishing well located on the back side of Cinderella’s castle. It’s very whimsical, but you still get a gorgeous view of the castle.” This was Olivia’s first time visiting Disney World, so it was already special, but little did she know it was going to become much more memorable! “The proposal was very intimate and romantic. His family was waiting for the big moment to happen!”
The Dress
With such a perfect proposal, Olivia knew she had to find a princess-worthy gown! “I wanted to look like a total princess from head to toe,” she said. “I knew I wanted a ballgown style dress with bling! The consultants at Affordable Bridal were so wonderful; they never judged the fact that I was a plus size bride – they took my vision and ran with it.” She ended up finding the perfect wedding dress with all the sparkle a bride could ask for! Stella York’s Style #6776+ was the one. “We added tulle cap sleeves for comfort and to really amp up the royal look. The blush dress changed the whole vision of my wedding; next thing we knew – we were throwing a party fit for a prince, a princess and all their friends!”

The Wedding
Olivia’s gown had a huge impact on the theme of her big day. “The blush gown that I chose changed the game for me,” she said. “We went with a mix of rose gold and black bridesmaids dresses. Joe and I love the fall, so we added centerpieces of pumpkins and lanterns with candles – it was dreamy and whimsical!” Her favorite moment of their big day? “Dancing with my new husband! He twirled me at a perfect time during the song and my dress flowed out. All of our guests gasped and cheered for us.”
