The Proposal
The Fines got engaged in August of 2018 at Newport beach in Rhode Island. “My parents moved to Newport and both of our families loved spending summer weekends there. Newport is so special to both of us and getting engaged and married there a year later was SO amazing!”
The Dress
Finding their dream wedding day destination was easy, but finding Jenn’s dream dress proved to be a little bit more work. “I knew I wanted a fitted dress that was flattering and comfortable,” Jenn said. “I tried on several different silhouettes at 4 different bridal boutiques. After trying on different styles, I fell in love with a sweetheart neckline. Stella York’s #6814 was everything I was looking for!” Jenn knew she found the one – modern, sexy, romantic, dripping in beautiful lace and featuring her favorite neckline!

The Wedding
Jenn and Alex’s wedding day theme mirrored the vibe of her Stella York gown; modern and romantic. “We chose a modern venue with white and black trimmings and an incredible view of Newport! The sunset was amazing. We chose soft blush for the bridesmaids and gold charger platters accented our floral centerpieces. The intimate and romantic feel of our venue made it personal to our love story.”
The Fines’ favorite part? “Our first dance,” Jenn said. “Alex and I have been dating for almost 10 years and always talked about dancing to ‘I’ll Be’ by Edwin McCain. It was such a special moment for us both.”
