With pops of bright pink and an extra sassy gown, real bride Brittany’s wedding to husband John was an absolute dream! After a very romantic engagement in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple decided that having a classic and elegant wedding at the incredibly gorgeous Gidden House was how they wanted to kick off married life.
From the bride: John proposed at a gorgeous resort in Cabo. We had a candlelit dinner literally on the cliff of the ocean where waves were crashing up beside us…he talked about our story and how we had got to this point we then went for a walk on the beach where he had arranged for a photographer to be there and as he got down on one knee fireworks and flashes from the camera started going off. It was perfect!
I never really pictured myself in a ball gown I always pictured myself in something a little tighter, but every time I would try on the pig poofy gowns those are what put a smile on my face and truly made me feel like a bride. I wanted a dress that was a little different than what you see many brides in these days and this dresses beautiful layers did just thy for me. I truly felt like a princess in it!
I didn’t really have a theme to my wedding other than I just wanted it to feel warm, elegant, and classy and my venue The Glidden House captured just that for us. Our colors were slate grey-blues with pops of deep fuscias, purples, maroons, lime light green hydrangeas it was beautiful. But I think my favorite part of the whole day was seeing my husbands face when he saw me for the first time that day.
