The Proposal
Jake proposed in mystic Connecticut out by the water. It was just about to rain so he quickly proposed, popped a bottle of champagne and ran to the car. It poured for hours after but we managed to beat the storm. It was a beautiful day.
The Dress
On my wedding day, I envisioned wearing a classy form-fitting wedding dress. I wanted something simple but beautiful and elegant. I tried on the Martina Liana 977 dress and instantly fell in love. It was the only dress that brought everyone to tears while dress shopping!
The Wedding Details
Our wedding was elegant, the men wore light gray and the women wore navy blue. We chose the colors because my husband is in the coast guard and wanted to represent a coastal theme in an elegant way.
The most special memory of the day was getting into my wedding dress. I’ve waited a year to wear this gorgeous gown and putting it on was such an amazing feeling.
