Real Martina Liana Bride Miranda’s wedding wasn’t without its heartbreak. After losing her mother to a long battle with cancer, her wedding was filled with special moments that honored her late mother in the most touching ways. For her sentimental wedding to Austin, Miranda chose a sexy and sleek illusion lace wedding dress to go with the night’s Italian chic theme.
From the bride: My wedding day was an absolute dream come true and I couldn’t have asked for anything more amazing! One of my most special memories was walking doesn’t the aisle with my dad towards my groom facing the sunset and beautiful water in the background! It was absolutely breathtaking and so perfect! I was overcome with so many emotions and my heart was so full!
My wedding day on October 22nd was actually a renewal of vows. My husband and I decided to have a small ceremony in the backyard on May 21st. 2016, in front of my mom since she was battling cancer and didn’t have much time left. She passed away 11 days later after a 16 month battle but her spirit lives on in all that my family and I do! She was much healthier when I got engaged so she was a part of everything from helping me pick the venue to going cake tasting with me! She was so excited for me and my husband and did everything she could to help. I made a framed picture collage honoring her on the 10/22 wedding day and it was displayed at my ceremony and reception. I know she was there looking down on all of us and was so happy to see how much love and joy was shared by all. I encourage everyone to take the engagement, wedding weekend and honeymoon all in and just enjoy it. Don’t sweat the small stuff because in the end you are marrying the love of your life and hopefully sharing that moment with important people in your life as well. Pretty magical!
