There’s only one word that comes to mind when reading about Dahlia and Elias’s Ontario wedding: Luxe. The classic and timeless black and white color scheme was tied together with hints of gold that gave an overall romantic feel. The bride’s Martina Liana wedding dress was finished with an opulent train and cascading lace.
My husband decided to propose to me on my best friend’s birthday to a complete surprise as I thought I was getting ready for a girls night out! He set up a romantic room filled with rose petals and candles everywhere, spelling out “Marry Me” while playing our song with my closest friends there to share the moment. After I said YES, he had surprised me at one of our fav restaurants with our closest family and friends to celebrate!
Finding the perfect Martina Liana Wedding Dress
I knew I wanted to look timeless yet romantic and have a dress with lace and jewels from head to toe. The picture perfect dress was something with lace and a romantic off-the-shoulder sleeve with a silhouette that compliments and hugs my body. I was in between two Martina Liana styles and I’m so pleased with the one I chose!
The Wedding Details
I knew I wanted my wedding theme to be classic and timeless; what better colour scheme than black and white with hints of gold! Our wedding was filled with candles and romance in the air as soon as you walked in! Our love is a special one so I made sure wedding guests felt it the second they walked in with our pictures on a slide show and a personal cartoon cut out of us.
For our same day edit we played the song “young and beautiful” by Lana del Ray and had an engagement shoot with our wedding day images combined and our compliments were endless as people said they felt the love and passion as soon as you walked in!
