Truly working as a team, real Essense of Australia bride, Natasha and her husband, Brad, DIY-ed as much of their wedding as possible, ensuring the day was just as they wanted! Natasha’s Essense of Australia ballgown was the perfect complement to the light and romantic color palette the couple selected for their DIY wedding day. From the bride: We loved every part of planning our wedding and wanted to be able to do as much as possible of the DIY stuff! We both made all the table plan, welcome boards, the menu/cards, newspaper order of services. We had strong ideas of how we wanted everything to look, we wanted grand and magical yet sophisticated and traditional and Red Floral Architecture delivered it perfectly! We only saw one venue and that was the one we chose and got married there! Iscoyd Park in Whitchurch has a wealth of history and the house is still family owned and they still live there! You really get a sense of dedication to the cause, and your really treasured as a bride and groom having your wedding there. It a warm, homely place and the moment you step through the front door you fall head over heels in love with the place! The best advice i can give is be as organised as you possibly can as early as you can, and make sure you keep an eye on costs, it soon spirals as we found out!! Nothing worse than added stresses the week before your wedding, we had lists coming out our ears and made sure everyone within the wedding team was exactly on the ball as we were! But by God did it make the week running up to the wedding easy peasy! But lastly enjoy every second from getting engaged right through to your head hitting that pillow on your wedding night, the time is precious and the most wonderful experience you can ever have!
Seeing the whole planning and efforts all come together perfectly, so many special memories. We both thoroughly enjoyed every aspect, we had put so much time and effort into planning and preparing a lot of the elements ourselves and really chuffed with how it all came out! My husband Brad was super emotional which i wasn’t expecting, that was lovely to see!
