A little glam but definitely very boho, Lani and Nick celebrated their nuptials in style. Elegant and unique, their Fort Worth, Texas, wedding was a mix of romantic aesthetics and simple styling.
The Proposal
My husband’s extended family lives in Sicily, Italy so when we took a trip to visit them one summer in August he lead me to a place called Taormina on a huge hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and got on one knee after 4 years of dating (we are high school sweethearts) and then we celebrated with family afterward! Second best day ever!

The Wedding Details
Our wedding was rustic but elegant – the rustic was nicely incorporated with our venue – there were whiskey barrels on the walls (etc.) I wanted a lot of white flowers and greenery hanging from the chandeliers, and we used the color grey as an accent to compliment the summer vibe. The day was so perfect with so many memorable amazing moments, but the anticipation before/during walking down the aisle, the moment after we were wed in the limo alone, and our first dance were some of my absolute favorites.
It was crazy to finally look at him and think “wow, THAT amazing guy is my HUSBAND!” And our first dance was soo fun. It came naturally and felt like we were the only two people in the room for a moment.
