Real Essense of Australia Bride Julie + Dylan

Inspired by historic and timeless weddings, real Essense of Australia bride Julie wed husband Dylan the most romantic fall weddings we’ve seen in a long time. She wore a gorgeous long sleeved ballgown in a stunning blush color which elevated the romance in the room. Cheers to the happy couple!

The perfect Essense of Australia dress

My style was very feminine, romantic, soft. I knew my colors were champagne and rose and I needed a dress to mesh that together. I shopped at two stores and by the second store when I put on the d2186, I could not take it off! It was the one without a doubt in the mind.

The wedding details

We love to travel, especially to major world cities (we’ve been to pairs, Rome, Shanghai, New York, Beijing, San Fran, Boston, etc) so we knew we wanted a wedding in our home city to really reflect all that is Indianapolis. We chose our home church of St. John’s, the oldest Catholic Church in the city of Indianapolis for its unique beauty and historic charm. The reception was down the block at the historic Omni Severin hotel grand lobby and ballroom. The space is beautifully elegant, with a marble grand staircase leading into the amazing room we had dinner and a beautiful white-columned ballroom.

It fit perfectly with our historic theme and our romantic color scheme, the whole place was already gold and rose! We incorporated our travels into our table numbers, each table was a city we’ve been to, we used travel postcards as our guest book, we used our engagement photos (taken in Paris France) as welcome signage and table decor!
