The Proposal
This duo’s love story began in the most adventurous, lovely way. “We go to Thailand every year in December,” Joanne said. “Robbie surprised me with dinner at a beautiful restaurant on the beach. Every time I walked past it I would say how nice it looked as it’s decorated in fairy lights.” Robbie popped the question and the rest was history! The venue is so special that Joanne and Robbie plan to return for their honeymoon.
The Gown
It seems like every part of this big day was oh-so dreamy. Joanne sought out her wedding gown by working with her bridal shop, Forever Bridal London. “I love lace and knew I wanted it from top to bottom! All my dresses are in at the waist then flowing out so I knew exactly the style I wanted,” she said. Joanne also noted a very important aspect of staying comfortable throughout her big day. “I have very sensitive skin, so I needed to find a strapless gown to ensure I wouldn’t get a rash.” Comfort is just as important as your preferred style, so take a note from Joanne and consider what style will make you feel your best!

The gown’s sweetheart neckline is designed in a rich, matte cotton lace that plays up the organic feel. From the lace waistband, an A-line skirt extends easily to the ground, while highlighted with a mix of cotton lace and French lace to create a unique, linear design. The back of this strapless A-line wedding dress with cotton lace zips up beneath fabric-covered buttons. This gown is also available in plus size.
The Wedding
The wedding consisted of the Williams’ closest friends and family. “It was small and comfortable, we were surrounded by all that loved us. We had a grey and dusty pink color palette with lanterns, candles and rose petals!”
As for the couples’ favorite moments? “Walking down the aisle and feeling such joy and happiness!” Joanne said. “Laughing and dancing with all my closest friends and family was so memorable.” Another special surprise: the Williams’ wedding date was on Joanne’s birthday! Robbie surprised her in such a loving way, with giant balloons and a birthday cake.
