It may be Fall, but that won’t stop us from swooning over Jaclyn and Kevin Ponzo’s charming June wedding in Temecula! These two country-loving sweethearts hosted a very fitting rustic-chic wedding with pops of outdoor inspiration. Read on to hear all the deets!
The Proposal
It all started back on the Ponzo’s four year anniversary. “We ended up going to the beach,” Jaclyn said. “As we came up to the pier, Kevin asked to take a picture of me. He said it wasn’t the greatest lighting so we ended up walking towards the sand. These people who were sitting on the sand got up and as they turned around, each one had a sign that read “Jackie, will you marry me?” Jaclyn described the proposal as “perfect,” and we can see why!
The Dress
Jaclyn’s wedding dress shopping experience was almost as memorable and fabulous as the engagement! She found her wedding gown at Bella Sposa. “As I was wedding dress shopping, I knew I wanted something that would show off my curves and I knew Kevin would want to see me in a form-fitting dress,” she said. “I wanted lace and sparkle from head to toe; that rustic-Cinderalla look.” Jaclyn’s bridal consultant, Alison, asked her to try on a few different styles to be sure she was set on a fitted wedding gown. Jaclyn had found her dream wedding dress on Pinterest! “I showed her an Essense of Australia dress that I had pinned and Alison said she had the perfect dress in mind.” To their surprise, it was the exact gown! Jaclyn knew it was “the one” instantly. “When I looked in the mirror, I instantly cried because it was the perfect dress!”

The Wedding
Jaclyn and Kevin’s big day was a balance between rustic and elegant. Their color palette included dusty sage, light gray, charcoal and a hint of pastel yellow! The bridesmaids were dressed in Sorella Vita “Sage” and wore cowboy boots. “Kevin and I are both huge fans of country music and we have always loved the rustic look,” Jaclyn said. “Once we saw our venue and seeing how elegant it looked without any decor, we knew this would be the place to tie our rustic/elegant look together!”
“Our love story is just beautiful and in our photos, you can see that.” The bride’s favorite moments? “I would have to say riding in the horse and carriage with my father and the grand reveal; seeing Kevin!”
