Real Essense of Australia Bride Brittany + Alex

From their show-stopping first dance to the classic elegance of the celebration, real Essense of Australia bride, Brittany and her husband, Alex tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor-inspired wedding. Turning heads in a lace wedding dress, Brittany was the most beautiful bride. Cheers to this sweet couple!

From the bride: Our wedding day was classic, elegant, and clean with light pink, gold, and ivory as our main color combinations. For an August wedding, we wanted our venue to be bright to match our summery theme. Kendall Plantation is the perfect mix of elegant meets outdoorsy which was exactly what we were looking for. My husband loves the outdoors and I wanted a formal wedding so our tastes truly aligned in Kendall Plantation. Our light colors blended perfectly with the lush greenery landscape outside as well as the open, bright, and elegant feel indoors.

My biggest piece of advice is that no one is going to remember what chair decors you used, they will remember how much fun they had celebrating with their loved ones.

Your wedding day truly goes by in a heartbeat. The best piece of advice I got during wedding planning was to try and come up with something to make your wedding “unique” to you as a couple. These are the moments that people will remember.

With that being said, my favorite memory of our wedding was our first dance. My husband and I absolutely love to dance whether it be 2-step, salsa, or any other form of dancing. We decided to take dance lessons 2 months before the wedding to our favorite song, Sugar, by Maroon 5. We love dancing and singing to this in the car so it was the perfect fit to add a little flair to our big day! Our first dance was fast and exciting and we lit up the entire room as he dipped and twirled me around. Our big finale was the true show stopped as he picked me up (with my huge train) and twirled me around. People nonstop came up to us afterward and explained how memorable and fun our first dance – it was truly something I will never forget.
