From the Bride: Our wedding took place at the Iberostar in Playa Mita, Mexico. This destination meant a lot to us because my husband’s mother’s ashes where scattered in the Puerto Vallarta bay which you can see from our wedding chapel. My husband is Mexican and I am Miss Canada 2014 Queen of the Universe, so we always joke that we met halfway in the U.S. I loved my dress so much and new it was the one the second I saw it because it is very elegant, simple and classic which was exactly the theme I wanted! The best part was after dancing the night away, I was able to carry my toddler’s shoes in my dress’s pockets after he took them off and we were ready to go!Â
