From the bride: Lance and I met August 14th, 2009. It was the first day of high school. We spent freshman year flirting and playing tic-tac-toe in study hall, you know, being romantic and what not. We began dating February 24th, 2011. Since we’re in love with traveling, when it came to the proposal, of course, Lance wanted to go all out. He secretly wrote me notes the months leading up to our proposal. He booked us a trip to Cabo, booked a photographer, arranged for the room to be decorated the night of the proposal, and had a personalized “does this ring make me look engaged?” mug ready for me with my new last name. Words can’t describe how perfect and genuine Lance truly is! It makes me teary-eyed just thinking about our relationship that dates back to freshman year of high school!
As soon as we set our wedding date I secretly wrote Lance a note every day to surprise him on our wedding day. It just so happened to end up being 365 notes ♡ We truly are perfect for each other because it just so happened he had secretly been writing me notes every month!
I’ve been planning our wedding since our sophomore year of high school. I had a Pinterest board of course! When I went dress shopping for the first time a few weeks after Lance proposed I said yes to the first dress I ever put on. I knew what I wanted all along.
Our first look was the most special memory of the day. It was hands down the most emotional, incredible experience. Nothing in the world compares to seeing each other the first time. Our nerves were all over the place that day until we finally saw each other.
