Meghan Markle’s Wedding Dress: Our Prediction

The royal wedding date is set for May 2018, and the venue is booked – could it get more romantic than Saint George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle?!  Since the moment they got engaged, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding plans were full steam ahead. But there’s one detail of the big day we’re most interested in: the dress.

One of the most important details of the wedding, Meghan Markle’s bridal style will literally be a historical fashion moment. Miss Markle has said her favorite style moment from brides past came from Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. At her wedding to John F. Kennedy Jr., Carolyn wore a very simple and sleek gown that paired beautifully with her rustic nuptials. So in light of speculations, we asked one of our favorite wedding dress designers, Essense of Australia, to give us their predictions on what the future Mrs. Harry Windsor’s dress might look like.

Meghan Markle Royal Wedding Dress Prediction

The designers at Essense of Australia suggest a more traditional ball gown with a modern twist for Meghan’s big day. Clean lines and elevated, intricate details take this silk zibeline A-line gown to royal standards. 3D floral lace appliqués and French-inspired beading along the hemline add a touch of romantic elegance and just enough shimmer, which reflects the bride’s personal style. Essense of Australia also suggests pairing this gown with a cathedral length veil for a dramatic entrance down the aisle.
