Yes, we love the unique, glamorous details of a wedding – the dress, the floral centerpieces and the cake, but one of the best things about a wedding is the opportunity to be surrounded by your closest friends and family! That’s exactly what Lindsay and Cody Phillips focused on when planning their beautiful fall wedding in Foxborough. Read their story:
Lindsay and Cody have been together since high school. In 2018, they purchased their first home and Lindsay quickly became obsessed with interior design! “I love everything Magnolia and Chip and Joanna Gaines,” she said. “Cody planned a trip to Waco, Texas; little did I know that it would be the best trip of my life!” The couple arrived at Magnolia Market and began their shopping venture. “After walking around the market, I took my time to look around and take some videos. My entourage was rushing me to take photos with Cody in front of the Magnolia silos because my friend Marissa had coordinated a secret photographer to capture the whole thing. Cody got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes.” The Fixer Upper fanatic described her proposal as “unforgettable,” and we couldn’t agree more!
Lindsay was seeking a gown that evoked a “sexy romantic” vibe and she found her dream dress in Style #D2488! A wedding gown that makes a statement, this sexy wedding dress with off-the-shoulder lace sleeves is both sexy and romantic. A V-neckline is the focal point of this sheer bodice, and extends effortlessly into a chic, off-the-shoulder neckline. The lace details from the bodice of the gown are mimicked on the long sleeves, that are finished with a slightly longer hem in the front. The sheer bodice of this gown, detailed with pearling beading, extends into long side cutouts and slightly onto the front of the crepe skirt. An open back is highlighted on either side with lace detailing and fabric-covered buttons that run the length of the gown.

The couple’s theme was “simple elegance” and they opted for a gorgeous fall color palette of green, velvet and slate blue. “My husband LOVES golf and our dog, so we incorporated those details wherever we could,” Lindsay said. They gave out inscribed “Mr. and Mrs. Phillips” golf balls as favors and their dog was present for the first look! So many personalized, family-oriented details made their wedding the best day. Mrs. Phillips’ favorite part? “Other than marrying my best friend, the best part was celebrating with our grandparents! Family is very important to me so having them there and getting to share a special dance with my grandfather was the best.”
Congratulations Lindsay and Cody.
Cheers to a love as strong as Chip and Joanna’s!
