What wedding dress trends are hot right now in your area?
Right now, almost every bride is asking for a low or interesting back detail, as well as softer colors like blush, champagne, and light gold.
What’s the number one thing your brides are asking for?
Lace, lace, lace, and more lace! I have a feeling this trend will be sticking around for quite a bit longer!
How do you make the bride’s experience memorable?
We treat every bride like she’s one of our best friends, which I think makes them feel comfortable and relaxed when they’re trying to find the perfect dress. We really do our best to make every bride that walks in feel special from the moment they enter the store to the moment they’ve found their wedding gown.
What’s the most surprising request you’ve ever gotten from a bride?
We recently worked with the sweetest bride who also happened to be a race car driver. She had been severely burned over a large majority of her body several years ago in a car crash, but her scars didn’t get in the way of her finding the perfect dress. She was such a huge inspiration in the fact that she was so confident and didn’t let her physical scars stand in the way on her wedding day or keep her from feeling beautiful. Better yet, she ended up ordering an Essense of Australia gown and her bridesmaids will also be wearing Sorella Vita dresses on the big day!
What is the best advice you would give a bride as she is shopping for her wedding gown?
I would tell any bride to keep an open mind when it comes to shopping for the perfect gown, and to only bring a group of people that truly know her style and who will give honest and sincere opinions while shopping.
