The Proposal

A tale as old as time… Christina and Randy’s proposal is straight out of a Disney movie! “Every year for our anniversary, we celebrated at Disney. We began our adventure at Magic Kingdom. I was practically starving as we had not eaten anything aside from Dunkin Donuts before entering the park, so I kept trying to grab something to eat but he refused, making me highly irritated. Finally, as we waited for the Mad Tea Cup ride, he told me we had reservations for Cinderella’s Royal Table! We ate and finally, dessert came with a covered tray. Under the tray laid Cinderella’s glass slipper on a bed of rose petals. Randy pulled out this huge box from his pocket, got down on one knee and asked if I would be his princess forever.” Prince Charming has nothing on this guy!

The Dress

After a fairytale proposal, Christina was on the hunt for her perfect princess gown. “I wanted to look like a princess and that is what I found,” she said. “For my reception gown, I bought Style #6501 in a local bridal boutique located in downtown Orlando with my mom and wedding planner Carly. The stylist was able to find my perfect ‘Belle’ gown from Stella York!”

The Wedding Day Details

Found her prince? Check! Dream dress? Done! Now hear Christina describe the immaculate details of her wedding day: “Our vision entailed a little bit of both of us as any wedding should be,” she said. “Our reception centerpieces were over the top candelabras (a reference to Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast,) table numbers were written on bell-shaped jars to incorporate the enchanted rose and roses filled the room!”

“My favorite aspects were the six sparkler fountains that went off when we entered our reception and during our choreographed first dance. The sparklers and ‘dancing on clouds’ effects during our first dance looked like something straight out of a fairytale. We had rose and paisley textured lighting that covered every empty space of the ballroom. We ended the reception night with a bang of gold confetti!”
