From the bride: After eight years together, we finally tied the knot at a venue in the seaside town we reside in and love. I painstakingly went to store after store trying on dress after dress (over 80+!) until finally landing on my Stella York! My first clue that it was my dress: the color is called Champagne Moscato. My mom got photos of me having my “bridal moment” bursting into tears and being an absolute blubbering mess.
We scattered intimate small details that screamed “us” throughout the entire affair. Christmas is always a big deal to us, so instead of a unity candle we created an ornament for our tree. We wrote our own vows that had plenty of football references. Our three pound dog is our child, so she was in attendance. Our main goal for the reception was to have a killer party, so we displayed five foot marquee lights in front of the DJ that said “DANCE!” Neither of us like cake, so we opted for homemade ice cream sandwiches instead. Our favors were individual mini pizzas.
From the start to the very end, it was everything we could have hoped for. And the best part? Each of us is now married to our best friend.
