Gorgeous couple Courtney and Andrew exchanged I do’s on the beautiful beach in Cozumel, Mexico. The Minnesota natives decided on a destination wedding since their families are from all over. Courtney looked flawless in her romantic lace Stella York wedding dress. The photographer, Adventure Photos, captured their special day as the sun was setting in the background.
From the Bride: We got engaged under the Labor Day fireworks on Lake Minnetonka. We quickly decided on a destination wedding and after weeks of research, we chose Secrets Aura all-inclusive resort in Cozumel, Mexico. The obvious next step was to find my perfect wedding dress, but maybe not the typical beach wedding dress. I headed down to Tampa, Florida to shop with my sister and step mom. Our second appointment was at The White Closet Bridal Company and we were lucky enough to be there during the Stella York trunk show. I was impressed with all of the dresses, but I knew right away which one was meant for me. It had a beautiful silhouette, but I could still move in it. The lace detail was exquisite and the plunging back was exactly what I wanted. The neckline was the best of both worlds, with a classic sweetheart cut that was covered in a light sheer fabric with the perfect amount of lace. It was stunning and I had to have it.
Our wedding was on the beach in Cozumel on April 14, 2014. The resort and the photographer played a big part in making our special day come together so effortlessly. It was a gorgeous warm and breezy day. The beach setting was flawless, as was the sunset that evening. We exchanged I Do’s in front of twenty family members and friends who made the trip to celebrate with us. The evening continued with a reception on the beach. The sun set and the waves crashed in as we enjoyed a seated dinner and danced the night away! It was truly our perfect wedding day.
