Real Martina Liana Bride Danielle + Greg

Escaping the hustle and bustle of New York City was a priority for Danielle and Greg when they planned their Jersey Shore wedding. What they didn’t plan on was a hurricane. Regardless of the weather, Danielle looked stunning her Martina Liana ball gown. Here’s to many years of happiness, you two!

From the bride: Our wedding was a beach wedding at a venue directly across the street from the beach. The venue is a private club that has a beautiful outdoor space with a raised walkway that overlooks the ocean. We chose the location because we both grew up going down to the Jersey shore with our families and we now go down the shore every weekend during the summer together. We live in NYC, so it is our favorite place to escape the hectic city and relax. Unfortunately for us, there was a hurricane on our wedding day – a bride’s worst nightmare. It was rainy and over 50 MPH winds. The week before the wedding it looked like it might rain on our wedding and as we got closer, the forecast got worse and worse. We were having our wedding in an area that was greatly impacted by Sandy so we weren’t sure we would even be able to have it. The day of our wedding, it was rainy and super windy, but everything went just as planned. All of the vendors were able to make it and everything went smoothly. While it wasn’t exactly what we pictured, it made us realize what great family and friends we have.

Our close family and friends were so supportive leading up to the wedding at that day to make sure everything was perfect. And even more amazing, everyone that had responded yes, made it to the wedding. We had all of our friends and family in one place having a great time, and that’s what mattered. Needless to say, it was epic and I don’t think anyone will forget this wedding in a very long time.
