It took a little faith (and a lot of emails!) to pull off Real Bride, Colby’s, destination wedding in Antigua. But between the beautiful, beach-side ceremony, the intimate reception, and her lace Martina Liana wedding dress, she had one of the dreamiest destination weddings yet — all captured by Amy Lynn Photography.
From the bride: We had never been to Antigua before, so we relied solely on reviews, pictures, and good faith in planning our wedding. We had no idea what to expect, as the entire wedding was planned over email.
We had 20 people fly in from all over the country, hoping to end up in a beautiful place. Boy were we lucky. Everything was perfect. The hotel took great care of us, made sure we had everything we needed, and even took custom requests at the last minute. And our reception venue was just… wow. It’s like they knew exactly what I wanted without me really saying a word.
It was the most magical thing to have 20 of our closest friends and family at such an amazing event. We all spent a week there together hitting the beach, pool, etc. It was really like summer camp. We gave all of our guests walkie talkies as their gift for coming to the wedding so we could all easily communicate with each other. They were a huge hit and so useful.
While the whole week was amazing, the most special moment from our wedding day was my dad walking me down the aisle to my new husband.
