From the moment Brittany tried on her Essense of Australia wedding dress, she knew it was the one. Her special day was filled with personal touches, most special being the emotional vows she and her husband wrote themselves. Cheers to the happy couple!
From the bride: Our wedding took place at the Cornwall Golf & Country Club on September 6, 2014. Although it poured rain all morning, the sun came out just before our outdoor ceremony took place at 3 p.m. One of the most special moments of the day was when we exchanged our vows. Although I was a little hesitant to write our own vows, they ended up being a perfect reflection of us and our relationship. We were truly laughing and crying during the whole thing. It’s something I will cherish for years and years to come.
Before I found my wedding dress, I had gone to three other bridal shops, trying on about 5-6 dresses at each location. I had a very good idea of what I was looking for: sweetheart neckline, fitted, probably a belt of some sort to pull it all together. Before trying on the Essense of Australia dress, there were a few I liked, but I couldn’t make up my mind. When I finally went to the fourth bridal store, the Essense of Australia Style D1571 was on the mannequin and my mom insisted that I try it on. As soon as I had the dress on, I fell in love, and so did my bridal entourage! There was something so ethereal about this dress – the gorgeous rich colour, the delicate beading, and the breathtaking silhouette. That was it – I’m so happy I kept looking to find the perfect dress!
