Mix-and-match bridal parties have never been more popular… and it’s not hard to see why! With so many options for silhouettes, fabrics, price points and, of course, colors, more and more brides are ditching the traditional matching bridesmaid dresses and letting their besties pick their own gowns. Achieving the look can seem overwhelming, but blogger Olivia Rink is showing brides-to-be how it’s done with the latest creations from Sorella Vita!
Sorella Vita has always been one of Olivia’s favorite collections from her days working as a bridal consultant because of their color choices, glamorous fabrics, and feminine silhouettes. In this post, she’s showing brides three different ways to incorporate Sorella Vita’s newest collection, Nouveau Sequin, into a mix-and-match bridal party. Olivia tells us she’s a big fan of incorporating subtle touches of metallics into wedding day color palettes and Nouveau Sequin does just that.
Olivia tells us she has always loved the look of a monochromatic bridal party, but the more she sees it done, the more she started to fall in love with the mix-and-match trend. It adds a little personality to a bride’s #squad and gives brides the chance to get a creative with their color palettes. Plus, sequin dresses are a great option for allowing your maid of honor to stand out. There are so many ways brides can play up the mix-and-match trend, but in this post, Olivia will be showing brides three different color combos that incorporate Sorella Vita’s Nouveau Sequin bridesmaid dresses.
First up: blush tones! It’s hard to beat the classic look of a bridal party dressed in champagne and blush. We love the way the Art-Deco pattern pairs gorgeously with the lace and chiffon fabrics. If you’re mixing fabrics, silhouettes, and necklines, it’s important to stick with a consistent color scheme when styling your bridal party. The three dresses Olivia paired in this combination from left to right: 8431 in Blush, 9018 in Rose Gold and 8689 in Rose Gold.
Neutrals are definitely having a major moment in bridal so we were excited to see Olivia’s take on this fun and flirty trend. In a universally flattering color and with a pop of sparkle, we love the idea of mixing cool tones with warmer tones to create a neutral palette. The three dresses Olivia paired in this combination from left to right: 8920 in Stardust, 8872 in Vintage Rose and 9060 in Rose Gold.
The platinum Nouveau Sequin gown is an absolute stunner. We love the idea of incorporating this dress into a winter wedding – or like Olivia suggested a NYE wedding! This combo is more of a modern look and is the perfect mix for a bride with eclectic taste. For this look, Olivia paired cool toned chiffon, sequin, and tulle together to create a glamorous but uniform palette. We love Olivia’s idea of mixing empire, A-line, and trumpet silhouettes in a bridal party. Sorella Vita offers dozens of silhouettes in numerous fabrics, allowing your girls to pick a style that flatters their figure. The four dresses featured in this bridal party from left to right: 8834 in Platinum, 8860 in Thistle, 8684 in Platinum and 9062 in Sapphire.
We hope you enjoyed Olivia’s take on the mix-and-match bridesmaid trend! Remember, whatever style you choose, go for what makes you besties feel confident and gorgeous. Don’t be afraid to mix colors and fabrics for the perfect palette!
