How To: Wear the Metallic Wedding Makeup Trend

Metallic makeup is a bold and modern trend right now ..and the perfect chic twist to your look on your wedding day . Metallics can be sophisticated if applied appropriately so don’t overlook the high glamour embellishment and modernity that they bring to your wedding makeup. If you think this look won’t work with your Vintage gown think again..let me take you outside your beauty ideals and show you some great tips to incorporate this on trend look to your wedding day.

How To Wear This Trend
1. Wear it with a natural or nude lip
2. Highlighter must be applied lightly as not to look too futuristic
3. Crème or a matte lip will work best
4. Only ever take the metallic shadow to your crease line
5. Always prime your lid with a primer or cream shadow if you are using a powder shadow
6. Do line your eyes and add lashes or more mascara as the eyes will disappear without it
7. Blend the edge with a transition color to make it more seamless

Vintage Wedding Dress
Apply a champagne colored metallic cream shadow up to the brow bone extending it past the outer corners. Line the top lid with a black liner ending in a small feline flick. Add some depth in your crease with a darker shadow. Apply several coats of mascara and a full set of lashes that extend slightly past the outer corner of your eyes.

Lace Wedding Dress
With a black pencil line your eyelid then rim your inner eyes. Dust a shimmery gold copper or bronze shadow on your lids. Blend chocolate brown shadow in the creases and create a V shape and buff it out so it smolders and extends past the outer corners also taking it under your lower lash. Apply mascara then add a set of full lashes.

Boho Wedding Dress
Apply a wash of metallic cream across the lids and blend up to the crease. Run that same color underneath the eyes. Line the inner rims with black or brown liner and smudge around the outer lash line (both upper and lower) Then to instantly brighten your eyes apply a small champagne colored inner eye v. Add mascara then some individual lashes on the outer corner of the eyes.

Simple Wedding Dress
Apply a fine layer of sparkle-flecked metallic shadow up to your brow bone and although sheer, you will shine. Apply a black shadow to the outer corners of your eye keeping it close to your lash line. Keep your inner rim nude as this will make the eyes appear more shimmery and bright. Add mascara and a few individual lashes.

Beach Wedding Dress
Try blending and mixing your metals by using bronze and gold. Use a crème shadow as it will not show any fallout in the daylight. Using powder for a beach wedding always looks overly made up in the sun. If you must use powder then dampen your sponge applicator when applying your shadow. Rim your eyes with a Copper or Brown pencil to add depth and color to your eyes-they will really pop in the sunlight if you don’t use a black pencil. Add mascara and a light set of lashes or individuals.

Glamorous Wedding Dress
Use a creamy formula for a molten effect and keep this color concentrated on your lids only, lining your eyes with black pencil. Define the inner rims with black liner, smudging at the corners. Then dust a metallic shadow across lids, blending upward, and then sweep underneath the eyes. Use a neutral brown into the crease. Finish with a few coats of mascara and a set of full lashes.
