Fall Beauty Trends

Fall…I love this time of year. The autumn ambers, burnt siennas, deep berry, crimson maple and golden moss colours are just what makeup dreams are made of. Weddings this time of the year are divine, the colour palette is so warm and inviting-dare I say decadent, so all you have to do is look out your window to be inspired by Mother Nature, she will show you the way to the best wedding makeup colours to be on trend this Fall. So if your wedding is upcoming or you’re planning a fall nuptial here are a few fabulous fall trends you might just want to give a nod to.

Dark Lips
The darker lip (deep berry, mahogany, is a big trend this Fall) and with a darker lip a less is more attitude should be the pick for the eyes. If you feel like it is too bare just amp up your lashes with several coats of mascara (like Twiggy) or slick a layer of gloss over the lid to add some light and glow to the eyes. The dark lip is a great look for those vintage bridal gowns or for those wanting a chic Parisian feel to their look.

Smokey Eye
This is always a favoured wedding makeup look or wedding makeup inspiration so why not have some fun with the season’s delicious colours and make your eyes pop and smoulder in the tones that will surround you on your special day. Check out Mario’s Master Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Its perfection for Fall’s bride and the shadows are long lasting and very pigmented. It’s hard not to be inspired by this amazing palette. It’s your best in Fall’s beauty accessory!

Twiggy Lashes
Oh I just love a lash and this Fall you can lash out with several coats of your favourite mascara to ramp up the drama of your makeup. Both top lash and bottom ones! Keep the rest of the eye quite neutral and play with your lip colour- that’s where the colour is with this look.

Glossy Eyes
A wet glossy eyelid looks incredible (Think Beyonce) as its gives extra dimension and sparkle to your lids. Give it a try. Add MAC Mixing Medium with their mixing medium shine which is a colourless wax-based formula that creates a customizable shiny look for pigments or your bare skin on your lid. Pat over your eye colour from your Mario Master Palette for extra glow and shine. Use a fine eyeliner brush to add the gloss to the inner corners of your eye or along your upper lash line to bring light to the base of your lash which looks stunning in photos.

Glitter Eyes
I know what you might be thinking-Glitter is not the go to for most bridal parties but you can use glitter subtly. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, however, a light touch of glitter to the eye can look heavenly if you use the right product in the right tones. No large flakes, smaller more refined flakes work best. Try adding some over your eyeliner or along your lower lash line or lightly across your lids using Too Faced Glitter Glue. Always finish your eyes first if you decide to wear glitter, as the fallout can wreak havoc on the rest of your makeup. If you decide to add glitter to your makeup after you have finished it-use tape to remove any fallout on your cheeks.
