Blog-savvy brides, this one’s for you! Cara Fries of Marvelous in the Midwest told us all about her fabulous experience with trying on Stella York designs. Shoutout to Crystal Bride in Geneva, Illinois for providing their beautiful space for this extra-special experience!
As one of the premier boutiques in Chicago, Crystal Bride was a natural choice for Cara to start her dress shopping. Being a major style influencer, it makes sense that Stella York gowns would prove as worthy contenders among her wedding dress options!
While she tried on dresses of all styles, the personality of Stella York’s designs with on-trend styling, outstanding quality and incredible price point really made an impression on this blogger babe. She loved the wide range of designs suiting every bridal style—so much so, perhaps there were too many good ones to choose! (An enviable problem to have, in our humble opinion.)
The first gown she tried was Style 6634, the Simple Ballgown! This clean and simple design with high-end detailing hearkens Meghan Markle vibes, which continue to make major statements in bridal fashion. She loved the classic-meets-modern detailing with the full skirt (and bonus pockets), with buttons running down the length of the long train—while the unique strap options add a custom feel, with choice of beaded or streamlined Mikado straps!
The second dress she loved was Style 6612, the Open Back Wedding Dress! This season, beading comes in all forms—from luminous pearls to decadent Diamante beading, rich mixed beadwork brings a whole new shade of opulence to wedding-day style. This A-line silhouette is showered in this rich sparkle, amidst the lace and tulle detailing—but what she loved was how comfortable it was in light of all the glitz and glam. Featured in Moscato, this dress is also available in White and Ivory to make it completely your own!
And finally, Style 6648: the Simple and Sleek Wedding Gown! Naturally shaped blossoms with larger blooms take over traditional laces this season, paying homage to the magic and mystery of a wild garden. While Cara didn’t expect to like a sheath silhouette, this dress ended up giving her the most to love—as she found the lace and crepe combo flattered her figure effortlessly (and so do we!). Her acclaimed pièce de résistance? The illusion lace back, which mimics the lace detail on her ever sought-after long train!
