Real Essense of Australia Bride Corrina + Isaac

From a romantic Parisian engagement to a boho farmhouse wedding, real Essenes of Australia bride Corrina’s wedding to hubby Isaac was a dreamy reminder that attention to details really makes the difference. She had us swooning over her DIY reception space and the combination of green, grey and blush colors, which created a very soft, relaxed vibe. But what really took our breathe away, was seeing Corrina in her long sleeved, lace wedding dress – hello boho babe! If you love a good love story like the rest of us, keep ready for more on this lovely couple’s wedding.

From the bride: Every moment of our wedding was extremely special to us but the moment that sticks out to me the most is the moment I stepped into the chapel and saw Isaac standing at the end of the altar. We decided not to do a first look because I always love seeing the reaction of the groom when he sees his bride for the first time as she steps into the chapel. I will never forget the look on Isaac’s face when he first saw me. In that moment time stood still and all I could think about is how thankful I was to be marrying my first love. I honestly thought he would be the one crying but I was really the one doing all the crying! Our wedding day was truly a dream come true and I’m so blessed that we got to experience such a magical day.

My husband, Isaac, and I met in elementary school but didn’t start talking until high school. We quickly became best friends but realized we were actually in love with each other.

After years of dating, Isaac surprised me with a romantic trip to Paris, France. Our first night in Paris we went for a walk around the Eiffel Tower. I remember feeling so blessed to be staring at the glowing Eiffel Tower with my soulmate by my side. Then Isaac got down on one knee and popped the question! I couldn’t say yes fast enough.

Throughout our entire wedding planning process we knew we wanted our wedding to be full of DIY projects and tons of personal details to make our wedding truly unique. We were going for an ethereal theme with a touch of bohemian. After we got engaged I remember constantly scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration. Pinterest is actually where I found my wedding dress! I saw the Essense gown in STYLE D1745 and knew that was the dress I would wear on our special day. The dress is truly timeless with lace long sleeves and open back detailing.

Our wedding venue was a white farmhouse, so in our eyes it was basically like a blank canvas. We brought in stunning grey tablecloths in a really organic material to make the reception space pop. Our florist included tons of greenery with pops of blush throughout the reception space. For one of our DIY projects we created a wood board filled with polaroids of our relationship throughout the years. We also used terrariums filled with greenery and twinkle lights for budget friendly centerpieces on half of the tables. Details included in our wedding were our unplugged ceremony sign, a wooden box filled with handkerchiefs for the ceremony, laser cut calligraphy place cards, gold hammered silverware, and so much more! Our amazing photographer Mustard Seed Photography captured every moment and all the wonderful details.
